Anglers had great weather with low temps around 40 and a high in the 8os with a
light wind. JUST A BEAUTIFUL DAY ! We have to thank God for the great weather,
He was really looking out for us ! The morning started early for the people
helping with wake up calls at 3:00 am and taking registration's at 4:00. Rose
Ellis with Image Products, Sandy Grubbs with Institches and Michele Sims with

got up early and played a vital role with the success of the tournament ! Wes
Patterson and Don harris with their Talladega Boy Scout troop checked livewells
and helped launch boats. Mike Morris worked as hard as anybody making sure
things went well , towing weigh in trailers and checking boats in. Todd Hamilton
took care of the scales. A note about one special young man Adam Mathews Jeremy
Justice(Alabama Lakes) Pro Staff Member took Adam out for the tournament. Adam

happen! Thanks Larry Rosser and Jeremy Justice , Adam will be sent a special
Prize for his competition in the event. We will have all the sponsors listed on
our website along with photos from the event, the sponsors made this tournament
possible and gave freely and expected nothing in return except knowing they
helped a child. Glen Hamer was M/C of the event and did a superb job keeping
everyone informed. Randy Howell from Eureka Baptist Church gave the invocation
before daylight and the National Anthem rang out over a loud speaker and the
boats set out one by one to hunt the best 5 fish stringer of the day. Bass were
caught on samll worms, carolina rigs, crankbaits, topwater, texas rigs,
